Small but mighty: the A28

Known for its innovation and great design, Aquila Catamarans is once again shaking up the concept of a centre console with the all-new A28 Molokai and, as an authorised dealer, Spectrum Marine is going to be the first to have an A28 for sale!

The design for the all-new Aquila A28 Molokai cut its teeth in the unforgiving waters off the Hawaiian Islands. This catamaran sits high in the water and the distance between the hulls gives it a smooth ride in any sea condition. Powered by twin Mercury outboards, the A28 cuts through the waves to get you out on the water and home with speed and confidence.

The A28 comes in both centre console or cuddy configuration and was designed with both fisherman and families in mind. With the additional beam comes oodles of deck space and plenty of storage whether it is for fishing gear or personal items and food for day tripping.

The foredeck is a large area perfect for casting nets or anchoring. Behind it sits a u-shaped lounge with cooler compartments for food or drinks. There is also a removable coffee table for entertaining. In front the helm is more seating and cleverly hidden day head and storage area.

Midships to stern you will find live bait tank, fresh running water, high-end Raymarine electronics on an ergonomically designed helm and plenty of seating which folds away to increase deck space. There are even more storage lockers in every available and conceivable location.

It is an easy step onto the swim platform or casting deck and then into the water via a retractable ladder. The shallow beam will allow the A28 into shore to easy access to the beach and beyond.

With the A28 Molokai, Aquila has shown once again, they are the most innovative catamaran designer and builder. Spectrum Marine is looking forward to the arrival of the first A28 into Australia and if you wish to view this centre console for yourself, register your interest today.
