A new Aquila 44 has arrived to lucky owners in New Zealand.

Jason Chipp from the Spectrum Team travelled to New Zealand to assist with the delivery of the Aquila 44, “Aperio” which expands the Aquila 44 fleet in NZ to three boats.

Pictured here, Jason is showing new owners Gilly and Myles the finer points of how to relax on the back of their new boat. Also pictured, Myles takes the helm for the first time on their trip up to Gulf Harbour. The Aquila cruised up at 20 knots proving the open water cruising capability of these great boats.

As you can see, it got a bit cold and required extra commitment when a team member had to don a wetsuit to remove the shrink wrap protection which looks after the boats in transit.

Congratulations to Gilly and Myles on their great new boat!
